This is Paradise-Cove Malibu. It is one of our favorite places in the 'old country'. Aside from it's clear waters and it's beautiful views. It was for a long time a Hollywood set. From the 50's through the 60's it was the location for hundreds if not thousands of movies. Even after that when the big studios slowed down 'epic' and 'teen' movie production it was the home for the 'Rockford-Files' (trailer in a parking lot). In between that. Sometime in the mid 70's it was a private community. Except for the restaurant.

I remember as a teen we discovered that if you gave a low number, kind of like a password, to the gate-keeper he would let you pass as a resident. I used this trick many times to go fishing off this pristine coastline. Never caught much though.

Through all this. The restaurant has remained and still is one of the finest seafood meals available in Southern California. We make sure that every guest we entertain gets an opportunity to enjoy this gem.
